Thank you for using My Travel Tracker ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including the use of Firebase Authentication.

We use Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google, to manage user accounts. When you sign in to the App, Firebase may collect the following information:

• Email address (if you sign in with email/password): This is used for account creation and authentication.

• Authentication provider information (e.g., Google, Facebook, etc., if you use those sign-in methods): This information is used to verify your identity with the respective provider.

• User ID: Firebase assigns your account a unique user ID, which is used to identify you within the Firebase system.

How We Use Your Information:

The information collected by Firebase is used solely for:

• Authentication: Verifying your identity and granting you access to the App.

• Account Management: Managing your account within the App.

Data Storage:

• Local Data: All your travel data, including travel information, excursions, notes, and other data you input within the app, is stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit or store this data on our servers.

Data Sharing:

• Firebase Authentication: As Firebase is a Google service, authentication data is subject to Google's data sharing practices as outlined in their Privacy Policy. We do not independently share your authentication data with any other third parties.

• Local Data: We do not share the travel data you store locally within the App with any third parties.

Permissions:

The App may request certain permissions on your device to function correctly. These permissions may include:

• Storage permission (to save and retrieve your data on your device's storage).

• Being cautious about installing apps from untrusted sources.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
